Volunteers and Grove Christian Outreach Center
Volunteers are the heart of what we do here at Grove Christian Outreach Center. It would be absolutely impossible to serve our clients on a daily basis if it weren't for the 100+ volunteers that give their time to us on a monthly basis. We have one-time opportunities as well as recurring shifts that require as little as a couple of hours a week. If serving others, and meeting the needs of your community is something you are interested in, look no further than Grove!
Immediate Needs:
Food Pantry Volunteers:
A Pantry shift consists of assisting our Grove friends by shopping for their selections through our Food Pantry and selecting their requested food and hygiene items. A pantry trip concludes by delivering a grocery cart to them where they are waiting outside the building. |
Clothes Closet Volunteers: A Clothes Closet shift consists of receiving and sorting clothing donations. Currently, our neighbors are visiting the clothing closet by appointment only with identified team members assisting them. |
