Grove Christian Outreach Center was established in February 2000 for the purpose of ministering to the Grove area of James City County. Many of the families and individuals in Grove are elderly, poor, or disabled and are in need of the services we provide. Our goal is to treat each person with dignity and respect and show the love of Christ in assisting them with their need. We have watched God do some amazing things over the last decade and are looking forward to what's to come. We pray that you will look into the many ways God is moving here at GCOC and ask Him how He would have you get involved.

Grove Business Partners Challenge

Grove Christian Outreach Center has announced a new advocacy group Grove Business Partners, inviting local business's to participate in service and financial support for the families of Grove. The GBP program kicked off with a $30,000.00 matching challenge given by Rob Brown founder of Encore Partners, and Joe Harrow and Bill Morrison of Middle Peninsula Insurance. Joe Harrow will co-chair the GBP initiave with Art Hudgins of Hudgins Holiday Chevrolet.

"I have lived in Williamsburg for over 25 years and was personally unaware of the circumstances in the Grove area" said Harrow " I am delighted to have the opportunity to partner with my friends Bill Morrison, Art Hudgins, and Rob Brown to help Grove Christian Outreach Center.

Reduce your 2012 Virginia State Tax Bill

Qualified unrestricted donations to Grove Christian Outreach Center will provide a 40% tax
credit against Virginia state taxes through Virginia’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). For example if you donate $2,500 to GCOC, your Virginia satate tax liability would be reduced by $1000 What a “Win-Win” situation! The minimum donation to qualify is $500. Better hurry! There are a limited amount of credits available so if you’re interested in reducing your 2012 Virginia tax bill, please contact Pat McCormick at 887-1100 regarding availability of credits as soon as possible.
